Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data iftinur.com collects and how it is used. The data controller is Ifti Nur, trading through Techgenix IT LTD (registered in England & Wales, company no. 16226399). Contact: hello@iftinur.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, store URL (optional), the type of help you need and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address and the date you subscribed.
- Server logs: our host records IP addresses and browser details for security, kept for a short period.
- Visit statistics: we use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count page views and clicks on key buttons (for example "Book a call" or finishing the leak check). It uses no cookies and doesn't store your IP address or build a profile of you.
- Leak check: your answers stay in your browser. They're only sent to us if you choose to send the pre-filled contact form.
- Guestbook: the name and note you choose to post. Both are shown publicly on the site until removed. Please don't post personal details.
- Drawing wall: the drawings you post are shown publicly for 24 hours (longer only if Ifti chooses to keep them). They aren't linked to you.
- Visitor counter and arrivals board: the time of your first visit and your country, worked out from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored with them.
- Spam protection: to limit how often forms can be used, a one-way hash of your IP address is kept for up to an hour.
- Your country (UK or not): to send UK visitors to iftinur.co.uk and everyone else to iftinur.com, our server checks your IP address against a local copy of the free DB-IP country database (licensed CC BY 4.0) each time you open a page. Nothing is sent to a third party and the result isn't stored.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a project (legitimate interests / steps before a contract).
- To send the newsletter you asked for (consent). Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To keep the site secure (legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
Our hosting provider (Hostinger) stores the site and form data. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Embedded videos
YouTube videos only load when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube's own privacy policy applies once a video plays.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use or withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@iftinur.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
